We publish content to empower couples to create a celebration worthy of their unique love—inclusive of all genders, cultures, religions, and styles. Through this work, we also connect couples to talented vendors who can turn their visions into reality.
Meet The Team
As Marketing Manager for Junebug Weddings and Photobug Community, Lexi has helped grow Junebug's social following by more than 500% and increased traffic to the Junebug blog by nearly 150% since 2016. Through trial and error, tons of research, and innovation, she's worked with her team to craft Junebug's marketing strategies, and then share all of their best practices with wedding photographers via Photobug Community. She lives in Austin, Texas and loves spending time outside with her pup Trixie, listening to live music, and is always planning her next trip abroad. You can count on Lexi to show up to a team meeting with baked goods and a smile.
Marissa keeps Junebug Weddings moving forward as a brand by facilitating advertising collaborations, running membership sales, and managing growth opportunities. She gets to flex her creative side by also being the Executive Content Strategist of Photobug Community. Her favorite part of being a part of the JB team is getting to know the people that make up the incredibly diverse and talented wedding industry. When not browsing through unique, one-of-a-kind celebrations, you can find her eating on a patio, crafting something new, or playing at a dog park with her pup Beaver.
Born and raised in Texas, Jessica moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas and fell in love with the city's creativity and soul. As Member Operations Manager and an introverted extrovert, she loves building relationships with wedding vendors around the world while simultaneously keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. In her free time, Jessica enjoys taking walks around Lake Austin with her husband, Dillan, and French bulldog, Leon, testing out new restaurants, and renovating her 1920's craftsman home.
After making the transition from running her own personal blog, Kamilah found a new home for her writing skills with the Junebug Marketing team! She is grateful to have the opportunity to use her creativity and quirkiness to collaborate with her Junebug coworkers and helping form a warm, and inviting online community in the wedding industry! Outside of Junebug, Kamilah enjoys spontaneous road trips, far too much matcha tea, gardening, and of course long cuddle sessions with her toy poodle!
As the Content and Editorial Manager, Riley works to bring informational and inspirational content to Junebug readers. She works with the editorial team to curate content that makes wedding planning as easy as possible. When she's not typing up a storm she's cuddling up with her two corgis—Willow and Winston—sipping on a margarita, hiking one of Arizona's mountains, or booking her next travel adventure.
